Kids Day at Cahokia Mounds

KIDS DAY AT CAHOKIA MOUNDS

11 am to 4 pm

Kids' Day is a special event at Cahokia Mounds for kids of all ages. Hands-on activities include finger-weaving, spear-throwing, and pottery-making. Have your face painted with Mississippian-themed symbols, learn about archaeology, animal pelts, and the animal bones that Native Americans used in their daily lives. TapSnap will be in the lobby with a complimentary photo booth for your free souvenir photo. This is a free event, however there is a charge at the T-Shirt-making booth. This is a fun way to learn about the importance of cultural preservation and pre-Columbian lifeways. This event brought to you by the Cahokia Mounds Museum Society.
