Event at Home Federal Savings & Loan

Home Federal Savings & Loan is sponsoring a free Community Shred Day at its downtown Collinsville parking lot on October 3, 2009 to help the public fight consumer identity theft. Residents of Collinsville, Maryville and surrounding areas are invited to dispose of unwanted personal documents securely and at no charge via a commercial shredding truck stationed in the bank?s parking lot at 100 East Clay Street from 9:00 a.m. ? Noon. Materials that can be shredded include old tax records, medical information, bills, unsolicited credit card applications, old bank statements, credit cards, CDs and other financial records. Materials may be stapled, paper clipped or bound, including large 3-ring binders.
