Revity Credit Union's 10th Annual Tee Up Fore Veterans Golf Tournament Raises $44,984 for Greater St. Louis Honor Flight

Fairview Heights, IL – Revity Credit Union proudly hosted its 10th Annual Tee Up Fore Veterans Golf Tournament at Stonewolf Golf Club in Fairview Heights, IL. The golf outing raised $44,984 for the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight, helping ensure local veterans receive the recognition and appreciation they deserve for their service and sacrifice.

Over the past decade, the Tee Up Fore Veterans Golf Tournament has grown into a cherished community tradition, bringing together local businesses, golfers, volunteers, and supporters for a shared purpose: honoring those who have served our nation. This year's event was especially meaningful as attendees had the opportunity to meet Robert Schultz, a 104-year-old Private First Class Sea-Going Marine who served aboard the USS California (BB-44). His presence served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by generations of veterans.

Revity Credit Union contributed $20,000 to cover tournament expenses, allowing every dollar raised through sponsorships, raffles, and team participation to directly benefit the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight. Community support generated an additional $24,984, resulting in a total donation of $44,984. Together, these contributions will help provide veterans with the unforgettable experience of visiting the memorials dedicated to their service in Washington, D.C.

"We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community," said John Merritt, President and CEO of Revity Credit Union. "For 10 years, this event has allowed us to give back to the veterans who have given so much for our country. We're proud to support the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight and the life-changing experiences they provide to our nation's heroes."

Revity's commitment to veterans extends beyond fundraising efforts. In April, two Revity volunteers had the honor of serving as Guardians on the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight's 114th Mission, helping veterans throughout their journey to Washington, D.C. The experience offered a firsthand look at the gratitude, respect, and recognition shown to veterans as they visited the memorials built in their honor.

The Greater St. Louis Honor Flight is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring veterans by transporting them to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifices. The funds raised will help cover the costs of these trips, creating unforgettable experiences for the veterans who have bravely served our nation.

Revity Credit Union extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who helped make the 10th Annual Tee Up Fore Veterans Golf Tournament a success.
