Collinsville Kids Fishing Derby 2019

The Collinsville Fishing Derby provides an opportunity for children to enjoy the outdoor experience of fishing. Some children come to the park to fish all year long, but for others, this is the first, or only fishing experience they will ever have. It's also an opportunity for parents and their children to spend time together as a family sharing the fun of fishing. This is a FREE community event. No fishing license required if 16 years of age or younger. There will be four age divisions: 4-6 years old 7-9 years old 10-12 years old 13-16 years old Each division will have a winner for most fish caught. There will also be a trophy awarded for largest fish of the tournament. This is strictly a catch and release event. Lake will be stocked with new fish just prior to start of derby. 9:00-9:15am - registration 9:15-12:00pm - fishing time 12:00-1pm - lunch provided and awards handed out There will be a casting contest, crafts, and other entertainment provided.
