Topic: An Answer for Reliability and Operational Repairs for LED Lighting?
Speakers: Tom Ries and Ed Merkel—Innovative Facilities Solutions, LLC
With the explosion of LED lighting suppliers throughout the world, reliability is sometimes an issue. Maybe it is too often an issue. The LED commercial/industrial lighting industry faces maintenance and replacement challenges because of the inherent planned obsolescence of most LED lighting that has been installed over the last 8 years. The need for ease of maintenance of existing LED lighting systems needs to be addressed. Bringing resolve to the lighting industry's general illumination problems such as ReLEDability(tool-less light engine replacement), Consistency with look and performance, adaptability for change and or upgrades, ease of configuration, and measurable sustainability with a circular LED lifecycle program.
