2016 Empty Bowl

 Help Fill the Bowls!
   Three years ago, the Collinsville Woman’s Club brought THE EMPTY BOWL fundraiser home to Collinsville to combat local hunger.  With your help and strong, area-wide support, they've raised thousands of dollars for the food pantry – helping folks who face empty bowls every day.  Now they need your help more than ever.  Please join them Ash Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.), at Collinsville’s Gateway Center. 
   For a $10 ticket, you can enjoy a simple soup meal symbolizing the plight of the hungry. More than 30 meat and meatless soups will be available.  WIL Radio’s popular Derrick Keith will be master of ceremonies for the event.  He’ll be playing lots of great Country music, bringing some of the area’s best Dereoke singers on stage, and LOTS MORE!  Canned foods are also appreciated.  Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. Tickets are available at the Chamber office.
