1950's Sci Fi Movie Marathon

The library is hosting an all day movie marathon of classic 1950s sci-fi movies on Saturday August 5th! These rare cult classics are sure to keep you watching the fading summer skies as the season draws to an end. Each selection is appropriate and enjoyable for all ages. 

A new flick will start every two hours, so whether you want to drop by for one or lounge all day to catch the complete lineup, we look forward to seeing you. It’s going to be out of this world!

9 AM: The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
11 AM: Forbidden Planet (1956)
1 PM: Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956)
3 PM: The Thing from Another World (1951)
