Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:  We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join a growing team!  The M. S. supervises and coordinates activities of maintenance workers engaged in maintaining and repairing or installing and removing mechanical and building equipment.  Directs workers engaged in repairing building utility systems, such as electrical wiring and controls, heating and ventilating systems, and water distributing and plumbing systems.  Inspects completed work for conformance to company specifications and standards.  Oversees out-sourced workers engaged in installing, servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment.

Location: Edwardsville, IL
Position type: Full Time, Evaluation Hire
Pay: Starting at 63,000/yr, BOE

Qualifications:  

• High school education or the equivalent of an apprentice program or trade school
• Five years of professional maintenance experience
• Previous Supervisory experience is preferred
• Ability to manage conflict resolution, coordinate work schedules, maintain budget
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to all levels of the organization
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
