In honor of his mother who passed away from Alzheimer's disease in 2014\, Mike has dedicated countless hours of service to raise awareness about the impact of Alzheimer's disease. Traveling far and wide throughout the St. Louis Chapter 38 county service area\, Mike has educated community members about critical issues such as the 10 warning signs\, disease basics\, communication strategies for caregivers\, and brain health. Mike has a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Iowa (1971) and a Masters of Business Administration from Drake University (1974). He worked as Group President for Glarcor\, Inc and as Chief Operating Officer at Pinnacle Automation\, Inc until retiring in 2000. Mike lives in Clayton\, Missouri with his wife\, Susan\, and rescue dog\, Buddy.
