DESCRIPTION:Collinsville VFW Post 5691 \n\n \nThe Collinsville Memorial Day Parade will step off at 10:00 a.m. on Mon.\, May 28\, from Woodland Park\, move South on Vandalia\, ending at the VFW.\n\n\n\nIt is customary to hear applause and witness salutes from spectators who line the street\, recognizing the supreme sacrifice of many military families and that freedom isn't free.\n\n\n\nA MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE at the VFW will follow the parade. The ceremony welcomes all ages to commemorate the holiday with remembrances of sacrifice by honored veterans and patriotic music performed by the Collinsville High School Band.
