DESCRIPTION:Gateway Regional Center will hoist a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for Gateway Urgent Care opening at 4273 S State Route 159 in Glen Carbon\, on Oct. 29 at 5:30 pm\, with the ribbon cutting taking place at 6 p.m. Please join the celebration of the new endeavor in the Glen Carbon community and enjoy the company of local community members with music\, hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Tours of the new facility will be available too.\n\n   Gateway Regional Medical Center (GRMC)  understands that in times of minor emergency\, a long visit to a standard emergency room can be overwhelming and time consuming. To deliver safe and quality care to our patients in a convenient setting\, GRMC will be opening Gateway Urgent Care\, a department of Gateway Regional Medical Center\, this fall.\n\n     It will function 7 days a week\, 365 days a year from 8am-8pm. On staff will be both physicians and physician assistants in order to effectively manage the care of our patients on a continuous basis. Gateway Urgent Care will also house both X-ray imaging equipment and a lab for immediately necessary on site testing.\n\n   Gateway Urgent Care's new location is just south of the intersection of Route 159 and Glen Carbon Rd.
